A few of my favorite things...

Today is Christmas, although in the life of a nurse, sometimes you have to compromise holidays and things get switched up a bit. So last night at about 9:35pm, Santa appeared and left a plethora of gifts for all who believed, the rest of us got a pregnancy test, hmmm, Santa is so on my bad list....

And yes, this was all I got from Santa, not sure if that means I've been naughty or nice.
So here are a few highlights of some of my favorite things....
First Buddy and Shane running to the window to see where Santa must've gone so quickly....

Then Buddy's older brother in on the ruse, I mean, telling us he never saw Santa, just heard a loud thunk (Santa sure is loud when you're trying to get the attention of a 5 year old)!

Then, the dramatic show of falling over with joy from a crazy rabbit game!

Of course there is the marking your territory, otherwise known as mine, mine and mine...

And nothing could be finer, than having the exact same toy as your cooler, older brother...

All in all a super fantastic Christmas, we're going to repetitively make toot noises with our noise putty until someone screams uncle, day!

The Aliens have landed....

And it appears, they may have a lot on their hands....
All in all a super fantastic 3 days till Christmas, day!

Mother of the Year....

What's that old adage, it's always fun and games until someone pokes an eye out?





Should have listened to my mother! At least it wasn't his eye, just a juicy fat lip, what a tough guy!

All in all, ready to receive my reward, day!

Working our way through the recession...

So we've been helping Buddy everyday learn a life skill so we can have him prepared for the future. First construction work, obviously there is more of a need when you're naked...

Next, we've been working on our air show modeling (watch out Vanna White, there's a new kid in town)...

I think he'd look good modeling those oversize checks too, don't you think?
Then there is the travel industry. It's especially helpful if you can draw all the exciting features a location may hold for the "to be" traveler...

(By the way that is a picture of the volcano that Buddy wants us to
move next to in Hawaii, with this cold weather, it sounds good to me)
Lastly the career path of constant head stander, sure to be a crowd pleaser and money maker in every way. I'm so proud...

So all in all a super fantastic, it's never too early to prepare for the future day!

Hey, who's that phony with the beard?

Today Buddy had a Christmas program at school, so after some hugs from his friends...


(That's Lilly by the way, his newest girlfriend at school, they pretty much tackle each other while they are together)
Then some fancy singing with hand motions (it was just like a Broadway production as you can see)...



Then for the moment all preschoolers anticipate (as you can see in Buddy's eyes)...

There was the anxiously, eagerly waiting in line...

Then there was the expressed disappointment about, "who was that guy wearing a Santa suit and mask?"

Oh well, at least he's a polite kid, he said he held his fart till he finished sitting on fake Santa's lap. So today other than having our Santa dreams smashed, we tinkered some more on the family airplane (in the meantime providing Buddy with some life skills)...

Then let Jerry tinker on the tree...
All in all a super "we've got an eye on you fake Santa" day!

The Grinch who saved Christmas....

While the Grinch was sleeping today we sent a few letters out to our friends....

Got attacked by a can of olives...

Made sure to stay hydrated...

Helped a friend get into the holiday spirit...

Then when the Grinch finally came out of his cave, Christmas was saved after all...

All in all a super Christmas decorating kind of day!
