The monkey in my house...

In other news, I think our monkey is growing some more, soon we'll have to put a brick on his head to slow down the process...

Thank goodness I am a great mother and will continue to let the pajamas stay, who knows, there may be a flood! In the meantime here are some visual effects created from my own little wild animal...

Lazy day...

We're all still in our pajamas, OK Buddy is, the rest of us put clothes on to commemorate the day! So we have done a whole bunch of nothing. So here are a few pictures of our whole bunch of nothing!....

Dish Soap?

So who knew how much fun some milk, pepper, food coloring, and dish soap could be?


Fill a bowl with some milk, sprinkle some pepper, and add some food coloring drops... (but be careful not to drop the whole food coloring bottle IN the milk... Buddy... OOPS!)

Dip a toothpick or other small item (pumpkin carver?) in some dish soap, and then dip in the middle of the bowl.

Watch in amazement what happens!


Be sure to mix it all up when you're done, just to be sure it is as beautiful as possible!

What to do...

Sometimes on Christmas break you can get a little bored, my suggestion would be finding a new play place. Maybe something a little like this....

The day was filled with lots of playing, and lots of begged stories of what I do with my boogers. The booger sandwiches, booger pies and booger cars I have made in my day! My boogers are just practically amazing, just ask Buddy who makes flying boogers and while we are sleeping apparently places boogers on Shane's head (and yes we were just making up stories, which I had to continually assure the kids who were leery of their boogery filled food). Buddy is such a good boy, his cousins loved the boogers but absolutely refused to pick their noses for a picture, seriously, are those kids even related to me?
So all in all a "boogertastic" day!

I'm not free...

Followed by a little reading from a little book I call the Dictionary(sadly or not so sadly I've found myself reading from this book to Buddy too, although I do refuse to read it as his bedtime book, you'd be surprised how many times he's requested it)...

Then came the part where I showed my true fancy mama skills and tried to sell him for a small fee (don't worry I'm not showing the pictures of when he had a leash tied to his leg, that may get me in trouble with DCFS)....

Although the first person to put in an offer looked a little shady(I think we'll hold off and see if we can get some better offers). Then off to do a little window (or not so window) shopping to end our day...
