Have you ever wondered what you should do on a day off of school, when you don't like school. Oh, I've got it, go to a school and have another day of school?...




If that doesn't boost your academic morale, maybe hanging out in the throw away pile will get you in the mood!

So all in all a super fantastic, hey I thought this wasn't a school day, day!

Repercussions...

So after a total of 9 days in front of the television watching way too many cartoons, we've had an unforeseen side-effect. Not only can I sing the entire Johnny Test theme song (impressive right?), but Buddy has a new love in his life...


This morning we stopped at my parents house to pick up his hat on the way to school and he notified my dad that he'll still drive a train when he grows up, but Sonic the hedgehog is his new favorite. He's already ordered his Sonic the hedgehog costume for Halloween and is planning a super fantastic Sonic birthday party (too bad he wasn't born 16 years earlier when Sonic was actually the fad and party supplies were available, of course I was only 2 then!). Anyway, we are going to have a fantastic bash, thank goodness for creative people and eBay!
So for now a super fantastic, hedgehoggy, day

Odor Eaters...

Buddy has manly feet, not as in big as a man, just stinky like a man's. When he took off his shoes after school, Shane wouldn't get near him (I on the other hand work with way stinker things, so not quite so bothersome)! We begged and pleaded for the boy to get in the bath and wash the stink off. Content with his own foul smell, there he sat on the couch with his arms folded, that is until the battalion was complete...

Ahhh, I must admit I must be a genius! Call me anytime for your origami needs, now if I could whip up something that would get the boy to sleep in a timely fashion (maybe I'm not so much a genius)!
All in all a super fantastic, smelling quite nicely now, day!

We got some fantastically wonderful plates in the mail today...


They make us happy, and are quite useful to hold our food (what a concept). You know what else makes us happy... can you see that guy in the corner, he's back, and we kind of missed him...

All in all a super fantastic, who knew a plate could be so much fun, day!

Putting the foo in foose...

Today was the first day that I got to hang out with Buddy after school, after him being sick for so long, and me working way more night shifts than I ever want to repeat again, EVER. It was fantastic, we ditched our homework and went swimming, seriously 2 1/2 weeks without us swimming is big news! Good thing Buddy's fins are still working quite well. He made sure to show everyone who would look that he can totally dive to the bottom of the deep-end, and then to show off for a little bit we swam laps with the swim team that was practicing. Yippee for feeling good, health is highly underrated. After our swim we decided to do a little friendly competition. Buddy asked if he could win, so how do you turn that request down (besides, what's friendlier than that)? We're winners you know...


All in all a very super fantastic day!

The resurgence of the seventies...

Hey dad (aka Shane), look what we found! Don't be jealous, I know you're totally reliving your childhood playground dreams. It's right next door to Donna's new house, and to that I say AWESOME!!!!



All in all a super fantastic, thank goodness tonight is my last night shift of 5 in a row because I'm tired, day!
