Buddy Beeder's Fantastic 30 days off...

This 30 days off(OK, its really a 10 day break, but to Buddy it's 30), I went on my first helicopter ride on Blue Hawaiian. It was the best ride of my whole life! You should go there. If you don't, you'll miss out on the fun. My dad is the coolest dad ever, cause he flies Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. But he says it's really tiring. So that's all I have to say. I love my mom and dad. OK, that's really all now. Bye.

Anyone else feel the need to not only force their child, but the next door neighbor's child outside for a picture in a rainstorm?

Do you think I have a problem? In other news, Buddy's Cub Scout Pack is starting off their popcorn fundraiser (sorry it's not as cool as cookies), but we'd totally appreciate a purchase. Here's the link...

We would hate to see Buddy's weekly "party hour" as he refers to them, disappear due to lack of funding.

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want to cross these two, they look like they might rough you up a bit if you start playing with their pool toys!

Pillow Talk...

It's really hot here so we usually sleep in our skivvies (sorry, too much information?). Which is no big deal, unless you decide to use your pillow case to do a nighttime potato sack race in your skivvies.

I vote I'm never using that pillow again! I'll save that case for when my brother comes to visit!

Tarzan....

Today we got in touch with our inner Tarzan...

Yep, that's my Tarzan so comfortable with being up in a tree, he's laying down!



Of course, I do believe my boy is a bit more Romeo than Tarzan (seriously all the boys were playing together and here is my boy showing off for the ladies)...

So all in all a super fantastic, wild man, day!

Crafty...

Today we woke up on what I am assuming is the crafty side of the bed....





That or no matter how much I tried with my awesome mama skills, Buddy wouldn't watch any TV today (was that out loud?). In other news, Buddy only lasted till 11 pm last night in his attempt to stay awake all night. When he woke up this morning he was wearing the saddest face saying he wanted to try it one more time. So tonight is attempt number two. Yep, I will be going to bed at my normal scheduled time, I may be a good mom, but I'm not that good. We'll see how it goes, let me rephrase that, Shane the Saint will be seeing how it goes!
So all in all a super fantastic, building it, day!

Ostrich...

Sometimes when I'm playing with Buddy he tells me he's embarrassed by me. Seriously, what almost 7 year old would be embarrassed by having his mother carry him like a baby in the grocery store when a classmate walks by? Just for the record he was totally lovin' it until said classmate walked by, then he had to scramble down and play it cool. All I have to say is, look out Buddy, there's lots more where that came from!
In other news, Buddy has a school break all next week. The boy has already had playmates come and do a non-sleepover sleepover, gone to Kona to play with a gang of gun toting ruffians (seriously, 3 hours of non-stop fake shooting up just doesn't ever seem to get boring), and tonight he is "staying up all night"...I'm going to bed so I'm not sure how late he'll actually last! Hopefully we'll find something more exciting to do this coming week!
So all in all a super fantastic, thank goodness we have all that sand to bury our heads in, day!
