When you have a Buddy, there are some rules to be followed, kinda like the Gremlins, or you'll have some horrible results if you accidentally use the wrong combination... First and foremost, make sure to take some trinkets from work home, and fill them with whatever liquidy substances you can find...

Read, read, read, read, until he comes to untimely slumber...

Find the train that's hiding in every situation...

Make sure to make most of the Lego and goofball combination...



Lastly, make sure to get matching haircuts, so everyone knows you're family...

All in all a super fantastic Lego creation day...

Super Buddy...

So when you're entire family is not feeling so well, the best thing to do is get back on your feet. If your an overachiever, you'll fly. And if you're really cool, when you land back on earth you'll make a smash!

All in all a super "sick" tastic day!

How to keep a kid quiet...

For those of you who may need a little help with your little ones, taming their spirit so to speak, and keeping the volume down, here are a few tips. First an in depth anatomy lesson, making sure to use really long medical terms that no one knows what you are really talking about...

Next try to recreate the Mythbusters dumpster diving episode, repeatedly...


If that is still not working, try a game of hide and go seek from your jumping beans, which may actually prove more difficult than it looks, especially when they are in your hand...

If your child is being difficult, a fail-safe method may be to have a balloon repetitively blown up for 2 seconds of entertainment...

If all else fails, some strategically placed stickers should do the trick...

All in all, a super fantastic, not at all quiet, kind of day!

Sometimes when ya gotta go, you just have to go and sometimes, it's good to have a little help from your friends...

We are so relieved to finally be home, it's definitely super fantastic!

Attack of the family...

So it's Thanksgiving weekend and we are celebrating my 4 whole days off in a row with a visit to the in-laws. While we are here we are discovering that if your family isn't responsive to you, with just a little persistence, and personal space invasion, you'll be set...




So here's to family, turkey and pumpkin pie, they kind of make us happy...

And sometimes they make us so happy we get down to our underwear and jump up and down on the bed making fart noises, or is that just Buddy and one of his cousins?
All in all a super fantastic, still full a day later day!

True Love...

Buddy has some loves in his life, that when you combine them, it's like pure heaven...

That's right, books and my bed!

New found freedoms...

Can I just say how much I love Buddy's school. I have always thought Montessori schools were kind of hokey (of course I didn't have a child then), but here's to our new found hokeyness that he is thriving with. Buddy is doing wonderful at school (OK , he got sent into the hallway twice last week for singing the fart song, but hey, he's related to me, I think he's doing exceptionally well considering his genetics). So for today, we're having a sick day, and of course, playing trains!

All in all a super fantastic reading kind of day!

Unfortunately this computer is lame and wouldn't let me load up the video of him reading the entire thing. You get the point though, he's super fantastic in every way (according to me)!
