Sometimes when ya gotta go, you just have to go and sometimes, it's good to have a little help from your friends...

We are so relieved to finally be home, it's definitely super fantastic!

Attack of the family...

So it's Thanksgiving weekend and we are celebrating my 4 whole days off in a row with a visit to the in-laws. While we are here we are discovering that if your family isn't responsive to you, with just a little persistence, and personal space invasion, you'll be set...




So here's to family, turkey and pumpkin pie, they kind of make us happy...

And sometimes they make us so happy we get down to our underwear and jump up and down on the bed making fart noises, or is that just Buddy and one of his cousins?
All in all a super fantastic, still full a day later day!

True Love...

Buddy has some loves in his life, that when you combine them, it's like pure heaven...

That's right, books and my bed!

New found freedoms...

Can I just say how much I love Buddy's school. I have always thought Montessori schools were kind of hokey (of course I didn't have a child then), but here's to our new found hokeyness that he is thriving with. Buddy is doing wonderful at school (OK , he got sent into the hallway twice last week for singing the fart song, but hey, he's related to me, I think he's doing exceptionally well considering his genetics). So for today, we're having a sick day, and of course, playing trains!

All in all a super fantastic reading kind of day!

Unfortunately this computer is lame and wouldn't let me load up the video of him reading the entire thing. You get the point though, he's super fantastic in every way (according to me)!

Have broom, will travel...

Tonight, we decided to venture out of our humble abode and fly Buddy's airplane in the spacious neighborhood country club (start giggling now). Buddy flew his airplane for a few minutes, and then became distracted by a much cooler toy, one maybe he hasn't seen in a while?




Now to give dad a little helping hand, or hands as the case may be...

All in all a super fantastic day!

Wait... I need to breathe...

So today after someone went to school, we had some arts and crafts, then had a day of just plain fun (no tv and no computers until 1 hour before bedtime). It's been a blast, hopefully we'll rinse and repeat tomorrow!

Herpes?

So today is my inglorious 37th birthday. Yet another year has gone by without me becoming pregnant and I have noticed quite a collection of wrinkles gathered around my eyes. So this morning I woke up with my sweet little boy(since my husband, I assume thought that me sleeping in on my birthday would just be silly-can you tell I'm a little bitter), and helped him finish his birthday present to me that he started yesterday with Shane. All it needed was a little smidgen of glitter...

I believe the mission was accomplished...

When Shane did awaken from his birthday slumber (yep, still bitter) he mentioned that glitter is like the herpes of crafts. To that, I completely agree, and am actually thankful that we are renting our humble abode and the glitter, that will I'm sure appear in places when we least expect it, will not be our eternal problem.
To celebrate my special day we did some things that of course every girl is dying to do on her birthday. First, we flew airplanes...


Then a spin in a sports car...

We did end our day with the Sweet Tooth Fairy, mmmmmm, yummy!

Now some more girly birthday festivities....

All in all a super fantastic, think I've been overtaken by boys, birthday day!

Sorry for so many videos lately, but this is the best way for me to keep a record of some of the goofiness that encompasses my son's entire being! He's good stuff, they ought to bottle it up and sell it! We'd make a fortune, who wouldn't want to break into spontaneous songs about farts? I mean, does it really get any better than this? I think not!
