At it again.....

The boy was at his old antics again. That would be the antics of putting on a show in front of the camera.......
and taking pictures of the earth's antics from behind the camera.....
So all in all a super fantastic, had a play date with a school mate on a school day, day

Creative outlets....

We've been looking into more creative outlets for Buddy. I was thinking photography, since he seems to have an eye for it....
Buddy was thinking along some other lines....
So all in all a super fantastic, now I have two of them,

day!

Dead quiet....

There are three people currently in my house. Three very quiet, non-talky, absolutely no noise going on in my house making people. Apparently, our quiet was still not quiet enough....
In other news, Buddy and I have discovered a new favorite thing. We drive our car up to the top of the hill separating the path between Waikoloa and Waimea. We get out of our car, unload our bikes and then ride the 10 miles downhill ending at Shane's work.....

Riding on your butt is apparently optional! So all in all a super fantastic, we could be the laziest bike riders in the universe, day!

Quantum Physics....

Buddy isn't getting enough school at during school hours, so this week he went to some night school.  Night school of awesomeness, that is! Buddy's handpicked team took all their laws of physics that they learned and built a protective layer of an egg drop.....

Miraculously, their egg lived....

and  made for a very delicious breakfast! Buddy had such a swell time hanging with his handpicked team, that he invited them (and 10 more) over to his house to hang out some more....
Thankfully, I reviewed my physics lessons and reread my most updated version of Mother Knows Best for Teenage Physcists! That, of course, included some amazing supervision of the little budding scientists....
that happen to be escaping my fog filled garage while I giggle and laugh from the sidelines like any good mother! A few of the hand picked team stuck around overnight for more physics lessons...
They may need a little more practice....
At least we didn't have to practice swimming after everyone left!
So all in all a super fantastic, I'm really tired, day!

My favorite sister.....

My sister came to visit me.....
For some reason, some weirdos kept tagging around her....

That's okay, we're fluent in weirdo....

We're also experts in napping....

Or at least we're experts in making fun of those napping.....Buddy and I met Donna and her gaggle of goofballs in Oahu where we went to tour BYUH where Buddy met his true love.....

(be on the look out for save the date invitations) and then we went
to the Polynesian Cultural Center to get an ice cream, because ice cream is best when it's fresh off the boat and costs $15.....
I think it's the pricetag that makes it taste so delicious!!!! The next day we went to tour Pearl Harbor. I think Buddy had a horrible time...

Okay, some parts were more "horrible" than others....

After I tried to get as many embarrassing smooches in as I could on Oahu, we took the gaggle to our island to do stuff....
Like sit around and play on our phones....that was my favorite! Then there was checking Donna's upper body strength,my personal favorite,

then Buddy's personal favorite, making fire....

Lots and lots of fire!!!! Buddy has been asking to play with torches ever since! Dang you Polynesian Cultural Center for making torches look so cool!!!!
Before the gaggle left we made sure to take them out into the sun....

Apparently, there was a misunderstanding about "laying out on the beach"...
They left me, so I cried for a little bit. Thankfully, Easter was just around the corner to distract me from all of my woes....

and when I say Easter....I really mean to say April Fools...

Of course April Fools, like any other holiday, is best celebrated with others....

In other news, Buddy received a new model train in his Easter basket...
and as much as I completely love that his trainset has taken over my hallway, we are working on a permanent home for his train....

At the rate he's moving it'll be complete around his age of retirement....so I guess that'll be good! So all in all a super fantastic, thank goodness I'm done with the million pictures I never did anything with, day!
