In a galaxy far far away...

Don't mess with this boy, he knows some very powerful people...

(I just have to put a side note in on the picture with Snow White, he got a glow in the dark necklace at a booth and quickly gave it to her, I have never met such a flirty kid in my life(I think I'm going to be in trouble in about 10 years)).
And if that weren't enough, he wears really cool hats too!

So we obviously had a super fantastic time at the Safe Kids fair today, just be on the lookout for someone at your door he may want to come over and play!

Love...

Seriously I love this boy! How could I not? He woke me up this morning diagnosing himself with the "yellow snot" that made him ineligible to go to school this morning and then continued to moan about not being able to attend school, because he "learns so much there". (If you haven't caught on in my previous posts this boy hates going to school, he loves it while he's there but almost every morning is a challenge which ends up with him taking a toy to school (which is a no-no), or him wearing something totally non-school worthy because it's not worth the battle).
Today he has ventured into the realm of Physical Therapist, helping me with some stretches my doctor has recommended to move my SI joint which is painfully out of place and inflammed (what a treat). The answer to whether that is a career path he wants to take, "Yeah I'm going to help you, and I'm going to still drive a train". So here's to my favorite boy out of my womb, and future engineer, Buddy!
All in all a super fantastic, seriously wish I didn't have to work tonight, day!

Card Shark...

If you've seen this boy in the last 2 weeks, I'm sure you've been swindled into a rousing game of Uno. The boy is hooked, and I'll say I'm totally good with that!
In other Buddy news, I let Buddy take his cash register to school today, when I picked him up he was handing money out to all the other kids. Hmmm, philanthropist in the making possibly? When we went to the library afterwards he was sure to discuss the cash register in detail to the nice librarian that let him talk her ear off, the process repeated when we landed at Winder dairy for our obligatory ice cream. He did line his register up with theirs and ring himself up for the ice cream, hmm the price was 789, a little unreasonable I think, but according to him well worth it! So not much for us, just a lot of book reading and uno playing, definitely my kind of day!
So all in all a super fantastic "uno" day!

Working 9 to 5....

So we put Buddy to work today, here's a little snippet of jobs he did around the house...

Well, now that we've found a few career paths to guide Buddy down, I just want everyone to see what a great mother I am and see what I let him wear to school today (they were learning about astronauts after all)...

Grump face not included! (At least I hope it wasn't)
So all in all a super fantastic working day!

Superheroes...

Not only do they fly....

But did you know they have excellent oral hygiene....

They make wonderful taste testers (because of their super taste power)...

They make fantastic cuddlers (in their spare time of course)...

But never let your guard down, they will always win in a game of air hockey due to their super lung capacity...

Hmmm, Superheroes, how do they always remain so cool?

At least until the aliens land?...

So for now, all in all a super fantastic, super hero kinda day!

Plumber Buddy

Today we decided to investigate the recurring puddle appearing on the tile in the laundry room. After determining it was originating from the sink, we started poking around underneath, and found what appeared to be a spiderweb, but was actually a tiny stream of water spraying out the side of the hot water pipe.

Buddy and I took a stroll to the local hardware store, and for five dollars and a bit of elbow grease, it was all fixed! Buddy was quite proud.

Ski Bunnies?

So my friend Becky from NY is in town, to celebrate, we decided to go skiing. Why skiing? Not sure, although Becky and I apparently have a death wish. It has actually been 20 years since I last donned on ski's, so we were super excited after watching the Olympics and a few trips down the Bunny slope we decided to do the lift. OK, Becky did good, Buddy did phenomenal and I, well I cried the whole way down trying to do my best snowplow to stop myself. So here are a few pictures before my run of infamy...

I just want to say what a fantastic job Buddy did, he went down with Shane a few times and then wanted to go by himself, so he did (Of course with dad following close behind). So the plan is that Buddy is training for the Olympics, and I am sticking to the Bunny slopes (at least until I perfect my snowplow).
So all in all a super fantastic (now that I'm off the mountain) day!

Hmmmm?

So I went to work today, the kids, they had other plans...

Looks like good times for all, including Blue, all in all a super fantastic (I'm assuming) day!

That is after a much needed pit stop...

All in all a super fantastic, uh-oh the butt pee came back, kind of day!

Operation Cupcakes....

So this morning, Buddy and I were all set for part II in the Valentine's Extravaganza at his school when someone "peed out his butt", codeword "diarrhea", most likely caused by the ridiculous amount of candy ingested at Valentine's Extravaganza part I. So instead of spreading our cooties, we decided to make some gloop (which is what you do when you are sick)....

It's a liquid...
And it's a solid...
Who knew cornstarch and water (with a splash of food coloring) could be so fun, but it does make me wonder what the heck do you make with cornstarch anyway, so I can be sure to avoid it entering my tummy!
Then we decided we better catch a ride across the house, we saw this guy and figured he would do nicely...
And nope those aren't gloves, my child is slowly turning into an alien, that or the food coloring stained his hands, I think we're leaning towards the first one (it would explain a lot).
Since I have a friend whose kids wanted to have a bake sale tomorrow to help out the people of Haiti, we decided to make our contribution too. For those of you who know me, I am not a baker, matter of fact the last thing I really remember making was a carrot cake when I was 16 years old (so just a few days ago I guess). Buddy was there to help me every step of the way (what a guy)...

Every good baker needs to make sure they have it just right,(Don't worry Corinne, that spoon was never used again)!

Ta-Da, it looks like I have continued to be on the no-baking streak, thank goodness child labor laws don't apply in your home (they don't right?)  So now we are resting our bellies from testing too many red velvet cupcakes and extremely rich buttercream frosting!
So all in all a super fantastic day, tomorrow the bake sale and hopefully no more peeing out our butts!

Shave and a Haircut...

Today Buddy and Shane took the opportunity to get ready for the ladies for Valentine's day while I was napping preparing for my night shift tonight...
..
We have officially finished our Valentine's to woo the girls and wow the boys at school for the 2 day long Valentine's extravaganza at school!

Yeah, they're going to be blown  out of this world with their handmade alien Valentine's, what girl wouldn't be with this Casanova handing them out!

Now we're just scratching our heads (of course with a heart because it's close to Valentine's)....

Wondering who could have possibly put up these no admittance signs for moms and dads?

That's our two cents, all in all a super fantastic day!
