Sherlock Buddy....

Today while Shane was at work we had some investigating to do. We took a 2 mile hike( one of us did the hike, the other caught a ride-does that mean I really did 4 miles?) up to one of the mines. First, we had to take a break, it's a lot of work sitting on someones shoulders and playing tug of war with their hair....

Then onto our science experiment that makes your face go wacky ( I think it needs less salt)...

Next to investigate this curious material located next to the water, it makes a really great splash!...

Then, onto finding the scary beast that laid these tracks...

Truly, I'm a little suspicious...

All in all, we're excited to see the fireworks that start at midnight and we love our country, super fantastic day!!!

A dillar, a dollar a ten o'clock scholar?

Not much happening today, went and found some new accomadations...


Punched our way through the forest...






Tamed a wild animal...



Treked through some hazardous terrain...



All in all a super fantastic, WARM Alaska day!

Where are we?.....

So today, we woke up in some strange place, we searched....



And we searched....



And we searched some more....



Then, we finally realized, we're in the middle of nowhere....



Oh well, might as well hang with the locals...



All in all a super fantastic, whale watching day!

Shane, this Bud's for you...

Unfortunately, my computer doesn't work, which means I have no access to pictures of my forlorn husband. So use your imagination to have cutesy pictures of Shane and Buddy. While you're at it, imagine I have written some wonderful, eloquent words about the father of my child. Today we spent the day at my parents' with the greatest dad I've ever had!!!


We celebrated with cupcakes that Buddy and mamaw helped make(I helped too if eating them counts)....




Then Buddy decided to take out some of his aggression, taking turns pushing some local (cousin) kid around....





All in all a super fantastic, we miss dad, Father's Day!

Single mom?

This is what happens when you just have a mom raising you. You camp out in the jungle with exotic animals...



Then, you fish in what your mother says is the wilderness. I think something is awry!...

A peek into the future....

Today Buddy started off with orating a lecture on Obama's new health care plan....

Followed by Waking Daddy....

Then, onto saving Christmas for the Who's (all with just a simple song, who knew Buddy's voice was so powerful)...

Then Buddy decided to show me what it will be like in about 10 years (minus the all black clothing and sleeping in his own bed(I hope))...

Then a giant demolished our city of clay...

All in all a super fantastic (didn't get called into work on my acuity shift) day! Now on to letting the dog take someone for a walk...

A rat, a ball and a boy....

Sometimes that's all you need!



While I was getting the pictures off the disk, I discovered Buddy's true identity. He's cuter than a speeding bullet, more gas than a speeding car, messier than a snorting pig, and definitely way cuter than any bird. It's Super Buddy, he can spell his name in a single bound, introduce himself to strangers and greet them with a handshake, and tell people smoking, that smoking is bad for them (my hero)...


All in all a super fantastic day...
