Buddy has been waiting unpatiently for something big that finally happened a two days ago. To kill time, I took him for his orientation for the scuba diving camp that he's doing this summer....
FYI, this is definitely a pretty awesome time killer! Buddy, of course, has now decided that he doesn't actually need to go to camp to get comfortable with a bunch of pool dives before the last day of camp where they do a 30 foot ocean dive....nope, this boy is ready for the ocean!
Then, his teacher helped him out with the patiently, non-patiently waiting and he got to dissect a shark in class...
Turns out his teacher may actually have been too patient, because according to Buddy (which may mean this is all lies) his teacher didn't think the sharks were going to arrive so soon, so she wasn't ready for them, so they sat in the refridgerator...... for a month before they were ready for the dissection class...... Apparently they smelled, apparently they smelled really, really, really bad!
(Side note, I'm totally thankful that Buddy's new BFF's mom was in the classroom to capture these beauts for me)! Finally, on Tuesday, what Buddy has been anticipating for over a month arrived....
Then he and the anticipated one quickly started doing this. Not sure if you can tell, but in the far left corner is his brother Kevin, who has moved in with us. So now I'm getting used to this as being the permanent view in my living room! I really need to have a girl....and faster internet, and maybe a bigger fridge......So all in all a super fantastic, happy for our new addition, day!
