Since Buddy has started Middle School he's turned over a new leaf. That new leaf would be learning to ride his skateboard after a year of ownership....
Thankfully, he has a friend to give him a push with his new endeavor....
(and he got a new board per his friend's suggestion, since apparently his mother bought him a board last year that is not good for riding at the skate park)....
To pay his friend back, we took him and his family to go roast some marshmallows in an active volcano......
Okay, we weren't paying him back (we were all just already going), but then again, if that was some sort of weird payback....I'm not sure if his mother was truly appreciative of that gesture...she admitted to being very afraid of the eminent death of her children from that hot molten lava! Mothers!!!! My mother said the same thing, then she threatened to send a family friend out to visit with a paddle to pay us back for our dangerous activities. So all in all a super fantastic, thank goodness for friends, day!
