Busy taking selfies....

So Tuesday night I attempted to take a selfie.....the boys obviously had other plans....

I tried again today in order to get a picture of my new lipstick for a friend of mine who is selling them and posting pictures of the colors on different skin tones....

I swear I must have taken 20 pictures and I still prefer the top picture because it is way less awkward! In other news, when Buddy and I were walking to his wresting practice yesterday, we passed by an antique store that was selling a guitar book of classic 50's to early 60's music....which means our evening was filled with this awesomeness....

Today he had some friends come over, so of course they joined in on the fun....

We started off with the Beach Boys and ended up with Weird Al......They're 12, and Weird Al is funny, so what can I say?  In other news, we have a rouge chicken that keeps coming into our yard....

It thinks it lives here.....I think Buddy needs to start learning how to pluck a chicken! In other, other, other news, our bananas are going bananas....

Yep, so all in all a super fantastic, super busy, day!

Buddy set up a shooting range/obstacle course around the house.....

 We had to run around the house hitting our targets (the targets that Buddy took time out to make into faces)....that is until we got tired and just started lazy man shooting.

I guess that's what happens when you put a Buddy in charge of your Monday Night Activities, I couldn't have been prouder...So all in all a super fantastic, best rifle/obstacle course I've ever been on, day!

Slow?

I ordered a dress for Easter about a month ago, I even paid for "3 day shipping" so I could get it in time....it came just in time.....for me to wear it the Sunday AFTER Easter! 

The mail here is timely, that's for sure!!! Oh well, I won't complain about living on a warm and beautiful island....except when I change my mind and decide to complain. In other news, Buddy had his first wrestling competition yesterday over in Hilo. That boy worked so hard and never gave up even though all of his competitors kept trying to pin him down (kind of the point of wrestling....well, one of the points). He had 16 matches and only got pinned once. He had such a great attitude and was so excited to have the opportunity to compete that he kept telling me for the next 10 hours how much he loves wrestling.  I'm not sure if I have ever mentioned it....but I totally LOVE that boy! So all in all a super fantastic, great attitude, day! 

Egg Heads....

I figured Buddy was too old to dye Easter eggs this year, but I figured he wasn't too old to make funny faces.....

Yeah, he asked where the die was so we could color the eggs!!!!! In other news, I paddled my kayak across the ocean 2 miles so I could land in a nearby bag to  get this picture?

So all in all a super fantastic, dyeing eggs next year, day!

Not a Pro with the GoPro.....

Since Buddy had the day off of school today, and some of the in-laws are in town, we decided to take them on our newest favorite adventure. My brother-in-law Jae is extremely hesitant to get into the ocean, much less deep ocean water. Ever time he visits we talk nonstop about the possibility of shark attacks, partially because it's good to be aware, but mostly because his reaction is HILARIOUS!!!!! I wish I had a picture of him to post, just imagine a very manly looking man....then picture him shrieking at the thought of a shark in the 200 mile vicinity! Buddy and I can't help but laugh nonstop (with him of course) whenever he is here. Anyway, somehow we suckered him into going snorkeling with us around Captain Cook...so of course I brought my GoPro!!!! Jae was wearing a floater belt that had a long string that kept hitting his feet and making him freak out that there was possibly a shark attacking him! Best laugh the Budster and I have had in a LONG time. I wanted to document the occasion of him in the water snorkeling, because I'm pretty positive that will be the very last time he ever does it (and he looked hilarious)....sadly, for everyone involved, my GoPro is on the stupid fritz, so these are the only pictures I got with it....

If you were wondering, nope, Jae isn't in ANY OF THEM!!!! Why? Because my GoPro hates me. Thankfully my iPhone loves me....

Of course Jae refused to jump into water, and getting him into it by walking was hard enough, so no pictures of Jae. So lets look at this awesomeness one more time...

Oh boy, I love that kid! So all in all a super fantastic, glad everyone made it out of the ocean alive, day!

The In-laws are coming.....

Shane's family is doing a "family reunion" of sorts down in Mexico this week. Unfortunately, Buddy has school and has missed approximately six million and forty-two days of school this year (give or take a day), so we couldn't join them. Thankfully, one of his sister's ended up getting confused and hopped on the wrong plane and ended up here. Thankfully, we just happened to be waiting at the airport at just the right time to see her arrive.....

To celebrate the momentous occasion, Shane took her to go play on some swings....

To pay back the kindness, she provided Buddy with some fancy umbrellas after we hit the gym....

Trust me, Buddy was greatly impressed!!!!! In other news, Buddy has become an entrepreneur and is 3D printing some finger fidgets to sell...

(They are little spinny things you spin on your fingers). In other news, I'm waiting for law enforcement to bust him for selling without a commercial licence!  In other, other news, Buddy is the best helper....

But then again, I'm probably just a little bit biased! So all in all a super fantastic, nice to have someone visit us so we don't stay so boring, day!

April is for fools.....

I was planning on sleeping in today, since it's Saturday and all. Somehow my body woke up at 6 am, then my mind woke up screaming it's April Fool's Day and I hadn't prepared.....Thankfully I pulled a few things off before the boys woke up...

 Then Buddy woke up and joined in on the fun....

Sadly we don't know how to unApril Fool's this one!!!

Okay,,,,not so sadly if you ask me, but then again I've been walking around as "The Human that Farts A Lot" stuck on my phone, my personal emails and all of my texts, so Poo Fart doesn't seem like so horrible of a title in my opinion! In other news, Buddy got invited to go play fugitive..... He's been wanting to play forever, but he's never been old enough. Apparently he's also old enough to dress himself now....

Let's remember we live in Hawaii......so apparently he's old enough to sweat it out too while he's at it! So all in all a super fantastic, enough time for one more prank, day!
