A few days ago, one of Shane's friend's mentioned that she had hired a landscaper to maintain her yard. Buddy was gobsmackered when he found out that someone was paying to ride a lawnmower around, so he quickly put in a bid....that's right, he put in a bid! Unfortunately, he misunderstood and thought we were suppose to offer how much we wanted to pay in order to get to do the yard work (or rather, I guess that was fortunate for Shane's friend, and he won the bid heads and tails above the others-go figure)!
Buddy has declared this his summer job (someone else actually does the real work, but they save a spot for Buddy so he can drive the riding lawnmower for a cool $5 a week)! Sounds like a deal to me! In other news, Shane fixed his motorcycle, which means the boys did a little of this today....
Which just got Buddy revved up to do this....
Repeatedly! Tomorrow I am truly hoping to go visit the ocean that I hear is nearby!!!!! So all in all a super fantastic, riding pretty, day!
