Buddy has really gotten into going to the skate park since we've come home.....as in, we've been 7 times in the last two days, gotten into. Last night we even stayed until it got spooky dark, basically just because we could....that and Buddy is a boy....and 9 (pretty sure I don't need to do anymore explaining than that)! This morning, Buddy had his very first piano lesson (let me rephrase that as, "very first piano lesson with an actual professional that can actually read music"). He loved it, it doesn't hurt that his teacher let him ramble on about who knows what. Anyway, afterwards we went......to the skate park (because apparently Hawaii has nothing interesting to offer other than a skate park*******insert eye roll here). We went home after a while and picked up some ammunition.....
I mean, we picked up Kohki and set off again!
Unfortunately for them, Buddy had to leave early to make an appearance at an etiquette dinner....
He was slightly put off that I told him it was a Cub Scout activity and forgot to mention that it was a joint activity with girls (THE HORROR)! Tomorrow (as long as I don't get called in to work, that is) we will discover if there is anything else to do on this island! So all in all a super fantastic, skate park professionals, day!
